Natural Rockers You May Not Know But Should: Sabrina

Hi everyone my name is Sabrina I’m 21 years old and living in the Netherlands. I study economics and I also work part-time as a hostess. This year I started my own blog

What or Who inspired you to go natural? Did you bc or transition?

I’m a natural for 8 years now. When I was younger I didn’t notice that I had beautiful hair. I always had my hair in a bun or in a ponytail. I grew up and looked in the mirror one day. I decided to take care of my hair. So I wouldn’t necessary say something inspired me. I just grew up and started to notice the beauty of it. This is how my journey began. Over the past 8 years I tried thousands of products. It was a big investment tho.

Top three products and prices.

– moroccanoil  € 42.90

– moroccanoil intense curl cream € 35.50

– Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La €5,-

If you had to give your hair a name what would it be?

I would call her “Big Ego” because my hair doesn’t listen to me. For example if I have an important appointment and I really try my best to make my hair look good she doesn’t listen. My hair got her own will and does whatever she wants. When I have a lazy Sunday at home then she decides to look perfect. (Yes it’s a she hahaha lol)

Sum up your natural hair journey in three words.

Expensive, frustrated, happiness

Any advice to the natural newbies?

Feel free to try out new products but always listen to your hair. How your hair looks or feels is the reflection of the product. So if your hair feels good keep using that product. But if it doesn’t stop using it despite what others think about that product. Bottom line what work for others might not work for you. Just listen to your hair she will tell you the truth.

What was favorite compliment someone has ever given you on your hair?

Where can I buy that weave? Some will call it jealousy or insult. I don’t. I take it as a compliment it looks so gooooood that they think it’s fake.

If you could only watch one natural hair vlogger on youtube who would it be? why?

Oeps! I don’t watch any vloggers

Finish this sentence:

I Rock My Natural because: It’s a reflection of ME. It says who I am and how I feel without even speaking.
