All About The Color Tattoo

I decided to go back to my roots and with what I really began hair shadowing with. Old faithful Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow. I had some
Edgy Emerald
in my color box I hadn’t used yet, so I decided to give myself some quick high lights.
Here is how my curls looked prior to the above eye shadow:
I just simply took some random ends of my curls and rubbed in the color tattoo and then set(locked in the color) with a diffuser.
Here is the after:
But I didn’t stop there! lol After about three days the edgy emerald faded so I went back to my color box and this time pulled out these two colors:
Painted Purple and Tenacious Teal
I applied the colors directly over the previous emerald.
Here are the results:
I put the blue over the green and it came out almost a baby blue color. The blue over the purple turned out a darker purple and the purple over the red looked more fuchsia . Just goes to show you can have fun layering these color tattoos, especially since their color selection is so limited. You just have to keep in mind that the brighter and more vibrant the color all depends on the color of your hair you begin with. Someone with jet black hair may not get the same results as someone with red hair.
Check out my next post on what I did when this color faded 😉
Do you happen to have a youtube channel where you show us how you apply the eyeshadow? I’ve tried this and although the color looks good, it comes out a little chalky =[
TashNaturally is my youtube name.
Beautiful colors what do you use to set? (Diffuser)
thanks and yes!
